Every single time I enter my local library I am taken away with endless possibilities of what to explore. I have been an avid book reader my entire life. The way a book can take you into a new world and completely immerse you in it. The smell of the printed pages bound in glorious covers sorted from shelf to shelf. I have never been able to quite get enough. I make it appoint to go to the library as often as I can and would spend all day there if I could.

Tired of constantly buying play dough, just for it to dry out after one use? So was I. That sent me on the hunt for a great easy and cheap way to make it myself. This is by far one of the best ways to make it super cheap, plus it smells so good depending on your ingredients! Make this recipe your own and use what you have available. What's really great about this play dough is it won't stay stuck in your carpet! It simply just vacuums up, no scrubbing or hiding a rug over it. Best of all, it's non-toxic and smells great!!

FREE Kids Book-It Reading Reward Program! (Homeschool 2017-2018)

BOOK IT! motivates children to read by rewarding their reading accomplishments with praise, recognition and pizza. The program is simple, flexible, fun and free to use in your classroom! BOOK IT! was created in 1984 and currently reaches more than 14 million students and 37,000 K-6 grade schools annually. Homeschool enrollment for the 2017-18 program year is open! If you are a home educator and your K-6 grade student does not attend another educational facility, you are eligible to participate.
**Only Homeschool teachers are eligible to register their homeschool students in this program. Subject to approval.

The Things You Can Find At The Library!

Every single time I enter my local library I am taken away with endless possibilities of what to explore. I have been an avid book reader my entire life. The way a book can take you into a new world and completely immerse you in it. The smell of the printed pages bound in glorious covers sorted from shelf to shelf. I have never been able to quite get enough. I make it appoint to go to the library as often as I can and would spend all day there if I could. No matter what is going on in your life, you can escape with just a book. Everyone needs an escape from time to time. It's healthy for your body, mind, and soul. For those of you who love to read just like I do, get down to the library. Check out some books whether they're fiction, how-to, history, science fiction, romance, and more, they have you covered.  You can find pretty much anything your looking for there and loads of books that you never thought would find you. Reading is such an important part of life, why not enjoy it for free. While your are there, check and see if your library also has a movie section many stock up to the latest new releases. Whether I am gathering a pile of books or preparing for a movie night with the family (or mom flick relax time), I love to check out my local library where everything is free!
