Some children struggle more than others when it comes to understanding everyday tasks. Visual cues can be a great asset to these children in guiding them through. My daughter whom happens to have Autism thrives from using visual cues to coordinate her routines and guide her along the way. They also help her communicate because she cannot directly tell me. I set up visual cues at our sink for her to use to guide her through washing her hands and also brushing her teeth. I have seen such a tremendous benefit from them I thought I would customize them and provide them for you to print for free and make yourself!

How to Reupholster Kitchen & Dining Room Chairs!
If you have kids and pets like me, your kitchen or dining room chair fabric has probably seen better days. Maybe your just really messy or haven't updated in quite some time. Whatever your reason, reupholstering your existing chairs is not only cost effective but it is really easy. My kitchen table chair fabric was awful I admit. Completely worn out in the fabric but not a thing wrong with the chair itself. They were screaming face lift and I was going to give them one!

Attack of the Hiccups: How To Alleviate!
All of a sudden hiccups attack with involuntary contractions (spasm) of your diaphragm muscle. In which the muscle spasms cause the vocal cords snap shut and producing the hiccup sound. Mostly causing an annoying set back until they subside. Common causes of hiccups include eating too quickly, eating or drinking too much, diseases that irritate the nerves that control the diaphragm, abdominal surgery, strokes or brain tumors, noxious fumes, and certain medications. However, most cases of hiccups resolve themselves in a short period of time and are rarely a medical emergency. Please see your doctor if hiccups last more than three hours, or if they disturb your eating or sleeping habits. There are many ways to remedy those horrible hiccups which include: holding your breath, drinking a glass of water quickly, pulling hard on your tongue, biting on a lemon, gargling with water, and using smelling salts. I usually hold my breath many times as long as I can to alleviate my hiccups. Not all these methods work for everyone and they're are tons of inventive ways people have done to cure their hiccups on their own. If you are a chronic sufferer of hiccups a physician may prescribe medications. Do try your best to avoid overeating, eating too quickly, or drinking too much to help prevent hiccups from attacking. If you're like me and hiccups strike at the worst times (anytime) you'll do anything to keep them from coming. If they do keep this post in mind to help calm those hiccups.
