This favorite hymn "All Things Bright and Beautiful" has become a mainstay of many churches through the years. The rhyming text attributes everything under the sun to God's creation, from "all creatures great and small" to the tallest mountain. This an ideal choice for reading aloud to a group, and the short, simple text could also be sung. The tranquil illustrations by Katy Hudson do wonders for mesmerizing the readers. With each page the eye is captivated by them as they flow with the hymn. My daughter and I really enjoyed reading this book not only for the excellent illustrations but the main point behind the inspiration... The Lord God Jesus Christ made them all. To mind it brings me to Colossians 1:16 “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:” King James Version. This is what makes this children's book! Enjoying with my daughter the joy in what the Lord has done, beautifully written and a illustrated classic hymn in a wonderful children's book!
