American History Go Fish Game Review + Giveaway!

Getting our children to understand history can be quite a huge task. In fact there is so much to learn that it is very overwhelming for their brains to handle so much. That can cause many difficulties when it comes to them absorbing and retaining that information. Geotoys has made a very fun and easy to learn Go Fish game makes American history fun! Making learning fun not only helps your child want to learn but gives them focus and determination to retain that information!!

In their American History Go Fish Game there are 48 cards that show famous people, landmarks, events, symbols and more from American history. There are several ways to play, here is how.
*Gather 4 cards within each category (ie Colonial America, Civil War, and Westward Expansion) and collect as many sets as you can!
*The player that organizes the cards in chronological order the fastest wins.
In fact there are so many ways to play but to help you get started the rules of different games are included that reinforce timelines and geography.
My daughter enjoys putting them in cronological order. By doing so she is sequencing the cards by timeline and sub-categories. This helps her associate the right parts of history together. The images on each card are very important I feel that makes these cards so very special. Not only can my child learn and connect information through images but she can also read about what she is seeing. My daughter finds these cards very fun to play with and is a lot faster than me at organizing them all. Her history buff dad enjoys sharing one of his favorite subjects with her through this game. Making it enjoyable for everyone because she is having so much fun and learning to. Those are simply the best kind of games.
Each card provides hints to help your child guess which area of history they are discovering. This game isn't just for kids, my husband and I have fun playing this game. Him seeing how much he knows and for me I enjoy jogging my memory. A sharp mind is a productive mind. This is just one of the many enjoyable games that Geotoys has to offer, go check them out for wonderful learning fun!
