Computer Desk With Hutch Set {Edge Water Collection} by Sauder Review!

When it comes to looking for a great piece of furniture, we typically all steer towards the overall looks of the item. That can get you into trouble when purchasing from the wrong company. Just because you pay an arm and a leg for something does not mean it is quality. Same goes for barely spending a dime on a piece of furniture, doesn't mean it isn't quality because it was inexpensive. Personally I want the best of both worlds. That would be an affordable price, impeccable quality and outstanding durability. Of course I want it to be gorgeous. Let me introduce those of you who don't already know where you can find this furniture, it's Sauder Woodworking Co.
Sauder Woodworking Co. is North America’s leading producer of ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture and the nation’s fifth-largest residential furniture manufacturer. Ninety percent of Sauder® is manufactured in Archbold, Ohio. They use some of the most technologically advanced equipment in the world, the facility features nearly 4 million square feet of space, employs about 2,400 workers and houses a wide variety of local and  imported materials. Sauder also sources furniture from a network of quality global partners, including a line of office chairs that complement its residential and light commercial office furniture. Sauder is a privately held, third-generation, family-run business set in America’s heartland.History of Sauder Woodworking Co. It all started in 1934 when Erie Sauder started a woodworking business in a barn behind his home in Archbold, Ohio. Originally a builder of custom cabinetry and church pews, he began crafting small occasional tables from  the leftover wood. Since inventing the concept of ready-to-assemble in the early 1950s, Sauder has held true to its belief  that furniture should be affordable, without sacrificing style or quality, because spending a lot, even if  you can afford to, just seems like a waste.

All of Sauder's products are manufactured with engineered wood — a composite of high-quality trimmings and post-milling leftovers. Sauder converts residual sawdust into electricity with its own cogeneration plant. Any remaining wood  waste provides a variety of sustainable uses, such as animal bedding. Their products and packaging are also made from up to 97 percent recycled material.  Sauder commits to environmentally responsible processes in water, energy, greenhouse gases, waste and recycling.
While looking for the perfect desk that would both give me all the space I could need and not break the bank I kept coming across Sauder. The most gorgeous desks at an affordable price. The best part about Sauder is you get the quality without the high price. This desk was extremely heavy upon arrival, I do recommend extra help to move the boxes. You see the hutch and desk are two separate pieces in two different boxes, both weighing quite a bit. These pieces do not come as you see above and below, the come all piece by piece. The whole set will take you about 3 - 4 hours to complete, possibly sooner with extra hands helping. The instructions are very thorough and picture descriptive. Each part was conveniently labeled for easy assembly. I couldn't be happier with the Edge Water Collection desk set by Sauder. Not only is it gorgeous but it is also very durable and highly functional. I love how you can hide away the keyboard and mouse to reduce clutter. Being able to hide my PC tower behind a cabinet door almost brought me to tears. It's exactly what I want in a desk. The filing system on the opposed side of the desk has the perfect amount of space to store my documents conveniently and effectively. The drawers are easy to open and close without any hangups and remain completely level. The hutch provides much needed extra space to me to store my most used office supplies and nic-nacks I am intrigued with for the time being. The dark finish the desk and matching hutch both display coordinated perfectly with my home decor and is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend if your looking for affordable functional furniture at the right price, shop Sauder.
